Hi I m writing M.A. thesis about cricifixion during celebration of Ester in the Philippines. Does anyone know any books/articles about the subject?

Don't know if you're still intereted but one article that could be of interest for your work is Fenella Cannell's "The imitation of Christ in Bicol, Philippines", Journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute, 1(2), 1995, pp. 377-394. This does not deal directly with crucifixion, but her argument that imitation of Christ creates intimacy with him and access to power could be an important point of entry into the practice.

A more elaborate study of the same subject is found in her book "Power and intimacy in the Christian Philippines".
