are there any career opportunities in Anthropology?

Hello,my name is Roberta and i'm an Italian student.
I've applied for Anthropology at uni in Belfast and i got an offer..
.. i love the subject, and i'd love to study it cos i'm in love with different cultures.
But what kind of jobs can u get after a degree in that subject? I was told it wouldn't be easy to find one.
Is there any risk to be a "jobless"?
I'd like to work in a museum or something like that but there are not so many museums in Belfast.
Can anyone give me any advice or information?

	There are lots of opportunities (if you are flexible) and I would not bother thinking about it. It's more important that you study something that you are interested in. You'll never know what the situation will be like in five-six years' time when you'll have finished. It's always a good idea to do some part-time work during your studies, why not in a museum?

First of all thank you very much for ur advice.

Yeah I might try to work in a museum as a part time job (but as i said there are only very few in Belfast)..but I was concerned about the permanent job I'd get after the degree. That's why I would like to know what kind of opportunities I'd have. I totally agree with you tho, it's better to study something u're intrested in indeed.
I'll sure keep on having some researches and make my right decision.
