I read your post about the Open Anthropology Cooperative (OAC) and Max' post at Open Anthropology just a few hours ago. I haven't been active there and just read some of the blog posts. Maybe it takes time for such a new community to develop, I don't know. I'll have to take a closer look at the OAC.

Thanks very much as always Lorenz. Your blog is such an incredibly positive force in anthropology these days. Where often we find depression and despair, here I keep finding inspiration. So many great things happening in anthropology - its strange that with thousands of members on the OAC, so few have anything to share.

I took a bit of a break over the summer, drinking rose in the south of france. Turns out I missed your blogs five year anniversary, so while late, happy bday antropologi!
